Position Description

The Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the Foundation for and Technology Hellas (IESL - FORTH), in the framework of the project “Advanced Packaging and Heterogeneous Integration for Electronic Components and Systems Pilot Line”, (Call: HORIZON-JU-Chips-2023-RIA-CPL, GA 101183307) Funded under HORIZON-JU-RIA - HORIZON JU Research and Innovation Actions, is seeking to recruit one PhD candidate .

 

Job Description

 

Τhe PhD candidate will be involved in the characterization of RF MEMS capacitive switches and related structures as well as in the assessment and analysis of the generated and existing data.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering 
• PhD candidate in a School/ Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with subject related to microelectronics and nanotechnologies  
• Good understanding of the operation principles of microelectronic devices and structures 
• Experience with RF MEMS 

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with the cleanroom fabrication processes 
• Experience with electrical characterization techniques
